The young person is school/sixth form college age

The applicant shall be recommended by the relevant school sports association, a coach from another club, head teacher or a representative from Eastleigh Borough Council.

A letter from the proposer (not including parents) will briefly outline the reasons in which the proposer considers the applicant suitable for the scheme. In all cases the applicant must have been known to the proposer for a period of at least 12 months

Generally the young person must demonstrate the following:

1. Exceptional behaviour at school or at college.
2. Must have demonstrated courtesy to other students, teacher and coaches.
3. A willingness to participate in physical activity.
4. The ability to attend classes at the AGEAS at least twice per week Tuesday through Thursday.

All applications shall be reviewed by the clubs Chief Instructors and places allocated when available.
